Learning objectives
The child should be enabled to -
• Develop an understanding of the concept of height through exploration, discussion, and
use of appropriate vocabulary
• Compare and order objects according to height
• Estimate and measure height in non-standard units e.g. how many bricks tall do you
think the green building is? Guess, check and discuss.
